United Beauty Trainer Scoops Prize in National Nail Comp

United Beauty trainer Laura Hughes is celebrating success at the National Nail Competition, held at Excel in February. This was Laura's debut in the competition arena and since she was placed 2nd in the stage 2 Natural Nail competition, we don't suppose this will be the last we see of her!

Laura was tested on her preparation, massage and nail painting skills; among others. The left hand of her model was required to be painted with a French finish, ensuring a smooth smile line and streak free finish and the right hand of her model was painted in a vivid red.
